What branches are affected and how will customer deposits be assigned?
The Oak Knolls office, located at 1125 E. Clark Ave. in Orcutt will be closing on April 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. Deposits assigned to the Oak Knolls office will be transferred to its office at 2339 South Broadway, Santa Maria. (805) 621-5400. Office hours: Mon-Thurs; 9-5, Fri. 9-6, Sat. 9-noon. Drive up hours: Mon-Thurs; 8-5:30, Fri. 8-6, Sat. 8:30-Noon.
The Milpas office, located at 800 N. Milpas St. in Santa Barbara will be closing on May 4, 2012. Deposits assigned to the Milpas office will be transferred to its office at 1035 State Street, Santa Barbara. (805)899-4300. Office hours: Mon-Thurs; 9-5, Fri. 9-6.
The Morro Bay office, located at 310 Morro Bay Blvd. in Morro Bay will be closing on May 25, 2012. Deposits assigned to the Morro Bay office will be transferred 1501 Froom Ranch Way, San Luis Obispo (Irish Hills Plaza), San Luis Obispo. (805) 549-8600. Office hours Mon-Thurs; 9-5, Fri. 9-6 and Sat. 9-Noon.
While these offices will become the “office of record” for customer accounts, customers are welcome to conduct business at any of the 11 Central Coast locations of Business First Bank or Heritage Oaks Bank.
Deposits will continue to be insured under FDIC regulations. Loans are available from any Bank branch.
How will customers be notified of these branch closures?
Letters were mailed to all affected customers on January 26th.
The letter informs customers of the timing of the consolidations, offers information on electronic and other banking services and provides direct staff contacts for additional information.
The letter also reminds customers that their money is safe and that all existing account numbers and other information will not change.
Will the Bank offer special services to assure a smooth transition?
The Bank is exploring options specifically tailored to meet individual customer needs.
